Sister Sue ( a tanka)

“Shes simply shy sir,”
Said Sally to salesman Sam,
“My sister Sue sits
Silently by the seashore
Searching the shore for seashells.

She spends days sitting
Singing to the seagulls and
Standing in the surf.
She stares into the sunsets
And she sleeps beneath the stars.”
